Health, Safety & Wellbeing Award: Temporary Exclusion Zone Safety Trolley
Chris Costa, Humes’ National Health and Safety Manager, and Ben Aboushadi, Area Operations Manager, received the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Award for designing and rolling out the Temporary Exclusion Zone Safety Trolley. Now implemented nationally across ready-mix concrete operations, the initiative strengthens on-site safety through a practical, consistent approach that supports safer behaviours and clearer exclusion zone management.
