Storage Tanks
Humes designs sewer storage tanks using steel reinforced concrete pipes, offering a flexible solution where unique footprints or depths are required. Tanks are available from DN1500 to DN3600 and can be configured with end walls, fittings and corrosion protection liners to suit project-specific capacity and durability requirements.
Segmental and One-Piece Shafts
Segmental shafts provide an effective solution for bulk sewage storage and overflow where site footprint is limited but depth is not constrained. Proven for ease of installation, cost efficiency and performance in difficult ground conditions, segmental shafts are available in standard diameters from 4.5m to 15m, with larger sizes available on request. One-piece shafts are available in 3m and 3.6m diameters and are well suited to medium-sized storage applications.
Pump Stations
Humes supplies precast concrete chambers for pump stations used across sewage and infrastructure networks. Chambers are available up to DN3600 and can be custom designed to meet hydraulic, structural and operational requirements.
