Corrugated metal pipe (CMP)

CMP is a helically wound, lock seamed corrugated metal pipe which is suitable for mine portal access or escape tunnels for a short-to-medium design life.

Humes can manufacture up to 5.1m diameters and long lengths of CMP on site utilising a fully mobile plant, which negates freight costs and accommodates late order variations and additions.

Humes manufacture two unique profiles to optimise load bearing capacities. CMP is designed in accordance with AS1762-1984 helically locked seamed corrugated steel pipe.
