Humes, as a Division of Holcim Australia, is committed to supporting Australian industry by ensuring Australian suppliers have the ability to compete for contracts on our projects, and by engaging Australian businesses, where possible, to provide the various equipment and services to facilitate our projects. Our investment in Australian businesses are creating jobs and opportunities nationwide.

In this regard, Humes, as a Division of Holcim Australia, has developed an Australian Industry Participation Plan (AIP Plan) for the Project. The AIP Plan endeavours to maximise Australian participation in the project by providing, wherever possible, Australian suppliers with full, fair and reasonable opportunity to supply equipment (including functional units and or key components), services and or technology for the project.

Key equipment packages
Local suppliers are encouraged to register interest in supplying equipment and services for the following key equipment packages:

• Concrete batching facility - including materials handling and storage.
• Concrete distribution and placement equipment.
• Steel reinforcing production equipment.
• Reinforced concrete pipe manufacturing equipment.
• Concrete curing equipment - including steam generation, distribution and insulation.
• Cranes - variety of types, capacities and spans required.
• Concrete cutting and grinding equipment.
• Concrete slurry recycling systems and equipment.
• Equipment integration systems - production monitoring and control systems.
• Other industrial equipment including generators and air compressors.
