Humes Ipswich, South East Queensland
Humes Ipswich is a state-of-the-art precast concrete manufacturing facility, planned for the Swanbank Enterprise Park, in Ipswich, South East Queensland.
The 14 Ha Greenfield development, 35 km from the Brisbane CBD and 10km from the Ipswich CBD, will strategically locate Humes to supply pipe and precast concrete products to the South East Queensland region for many years.
Rockhampton Precast Plant Upgrade
Holcim Australia will upgrade its Humes’ pipe and precast manufacturing facility in Rockhampton.
The upgrade is in response to Central Queensland (CQ) market demand and a commitment to the Australian Industry Participation (AIP) Plan, a concept under the Australian Industry Participation National Framework principles. The upgrade will also enhance safety standards, remove lifting capacity constraints and reduce external truck movements.
