Humes Box culverts are available either as an inverted U on a concrete base foundation (crown type) or as a U shaped trough with a lid (invert type). For multi-cell installations, LinkSlab(s)™ which span between box culverts offer savings in costs.

Uses/Applications

Drainage, Bridging, Pedestrian and stock crossings under road, rail and mining applications, Industrial ducting. Box Culverts are particularly well suited to low cover applications.

Specifications

All Humes box culverts are designed to AS1597 Part 1 and 2, and AS5100 - Bridge Design load values.
