Plastiline™

Description

Plastiline™: The lining of SRCP with a corrosion protection liner provides the ultimate protection from sewerage aggressives. Humes' Plastiline™, a thermoplastic barrier which has been used in Australia for 50 years, is accepted globally as a leading sewerage system product - providing the benefits of a rigid pipeline solution with an inert inner bore which is not susceptible to acid attack.

Plastiline™, a plasticised PVC, is mechanically embedded into the pipe wall as an integral part of the manufacturing process. Rigorous factory and field quality control measures ensure that the Plastiline™ pipe is installed with a defect free, inert surface lining, prior to commissioning the pipeline. Measured CCTV inspection, in conjunction with laser profiling, enable in-service inspection, and ensures the design life of correctly installed Plastiline™ systems is in excess of 100 years.
